National radar is useless. Cant zoom in enough and poor resolution. Absolutely needs legends to explain colors on the other view options. Not a bad start but not worth money or storage space without some development.

Everytime I open the app it crashes! Huge waste of $3!

Although I live in the extreme Northeast, where tornados are rare, I do have family in other areas of the country, and it is useful to know if they are under threat. Also, we DO get the occasional hailstorm, and an advance warning will be helpful in making sure our cars are in a protected spot.

TornadoSpy+ did a great job last night during the Oklahoma storms. The app includes animated radar by default thats available from the main screen, but the upgrade is well worth it and has many different types of radar that helped me track the storm. The push alerts were also handy and I was able to receive alerts even when the app was closed. The combination of user sightings and official NWS sightings make this app a great purchase. Last week in Tulsa, the user sighting actually came before the official NWS sighting.

I love weather . And this app seemed great. But most of the hail and tornado reports come late. A couple times its days theres a sighting in the areas and its already late . The only reason I kept this was to track and see tornado hail paths after storms.

Great idea..just missing something. Sometimes alert area doesnt sent the right notifications. Id like to see current radar/lightning etc too like the other apps do already & this app would be great. Its off to a great start though.

Love this app! It keeps me informed were the bad weather is.

Potentially life saving, especially with this huge storm system

I love the app on my iPad! I paid for the upgraded version on my iPhone but when I try to set up email on settings I cant save b/c the keyboard is in the way of the save button! Ive tried swiping the keyboard down to remove it and Ive tried to scroll up on the page but it wont work while App is open. The save button will not show! In the tutorials you dont type in an address or you would have see the issue. Please fix this or refund my money!

This app help keep and get my family out of harms way and also to help me at work I work at a small hospital it kept us informed of the coming danger

Not pleasent to use.

I wanted to like this app. I really did. The spotter-sightings map is good, although I would have liked to be able to drop pins for the locations that I want to get alerts for instead of the current set up. You have to align your phone screen over the area on a map that you want to be alerted. The entire part of the map that youve zoomed in on your phone screen is set as the area for alerts and you can only set one of these such areas. For me, pins (and multiple ones) would be a much better and more streamlined setup. What Im really here to bring to light, though, is that you pay $2.99 for this app and then you have to pay a dollar extra for every add-on you want (except for basic radar, and the spotter map of course). If you want to be a part of a spotter network, by all means get this app. But dont expect much more than a spotter network. If you want weather radio (and an all around better and more complete app), get Red Cross Tornado. Luckily, Im an amateur spotter and consider myself pretty radar savvy, so I wont need to rely upon this one app for weather info. But most people are just looking for timely, streamlined information in an emergency-- and this app, unless you want spotter reports, is not the best choice. I know that Id raise my rating to 5 stars if they changed it so that the radio and other add-ons were just a part of the $2.99 you pay for this app. Also, if they streamlined the alert settings, Id be a very happy customer. For me, however, since Ive already bought the app, I might as well keep it solely for the awesome-factor of being able to report severe weather to a network of spotters.

I like the new look of this app. Ive been using it for years and this version is the most user friendly. I love being able to get alerts just for the area I select. Plus, no other app offers the user/spotter sightings in the same app as the NWS ones. Great job TornadoSpy+!!

Still kinda trying to figure out some of it but very reliable, I must say. I can get as wide of an alert area as I want, and the sightings map is GREAT! Yesterday I didnt even know the weather was threatening like it was until this app told me a tornado had touched down in Arkansas which gave me PLENTY of warning that bad weather was approaching. My only complaint is that the US radar loop map is kinda small and hard to see. Other than that, a FANTASTIC app!

NOAA radio doesnt work. At all. So I would not In App purchase the radio. Also there is no way to contact the developer.
